Who We Are

At Maxletics, our corporate values are embodied in only two words: “athletes first”. With this acknowledgment that we can create great brands without exploiting our athletes, our entire team is committed to creating the best influential marketing platform in the world.

We do this by leveraging the intense passion our athletes have for forward-thinking brands – and passing that passion on to tens of millions of active, fanatic followers. Today, we’re the largest influential sports agency in the U.S. based upon the number of athletes using our innovative platform

Our Team

Jan Horsfall

Jan Horsfall

Founder & CEO

Jan’s experience in building and scaling high-growth companies, as well as his own background as a former college basketball player lends itself to the fast-paced, athlete-focused environment inside of Maxletics. Jan’s a technology veteran who ran the marketing unit at Valvoline, before taking over the marketing unit at Lycos, Inc. where the company performed the fastest IPO in the history of NASDAQ before pushing the stock up 39,000% and being sold to Terra Networks for $4.5 billion. Jan’s held the CEO role at Gemini Voice Solutions (sold to Novo Networks), Gelazzi, Inc. (sold to Big Freeze LLC), Universal Energy (sold to PetroChoice) and the CMO role at Turbine, Inc. (sold to Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment).

He knows startups and helped co-found Startup Colorado after earlier serving on the board of the Colorado Springs Technology Incubator. When he’s not leading the influential marketing innovation at Maxletics, he cheers for his Colorado State Rams where he’s been feted as the Honor Alumnus for the College of Business.

Brad Brackel

Brad Brackel

VP of Business Development

Brad creates new business partnership opportunities with Maxletics, while also leading the athlete support process. Brad’s been responsible for bringing on over 1,100 athletes – over half of them Olympians – and their 45 million fanatical followers. He’s a technology veteran who has held senior posts at Sanborn Mapping and Pikes Peak Cargo Secure. He also helped remake the Colorado entrepreneurship landscape as a board member of Peak Startup. And Brad knows Olympians as he once attempted to make the USA Skeleton team before breaking his arm while participating.

You’ll find Brad in places like Lake Placid, Colorado Springs, Calgary, Chule Vista and other big game hot spots, supporting the athletes to who he dedicates his time.

Blair Hogan

Blair Hogan

VP of Sales

Blair handles the sales relationships with the forward-thinking brands participating with Maxletics. Blair worked with Jan Horsfall at Lycos before holding senior sales roles at the Wall Street Journal, Monster.com, and Cornerstone Healthcare Training. Blair’s a sports junkie who not only loves our Maxletics athletes (along with the New York Giants), but also loves the brands benefitting from our Athlete Clusters™.

She’s a relationship builder who strives to put team-based projects together for the long-term benefit of her brand partners. You’ll find Blair running around our office yelling “game on” several times a day as she assists her companies on the influential marketing front.
